Nowadays it is difficult to get away from celebrities, sports persons or just the average Joe talking about political issues or religion. Social media such as Twitter has really put a cramp on “just having fun” conversations.

A brief background:

I am privileged to be in the Guinness Book for having the Largest Winnie the Pooh and Friends Memorabilia collection in the world since 2008.

Since then, I have held the Guinness World Record title and have crushed my own record numerous times. My initial record was set with having collected 3,891 items and today the record has amassed to over 27,000. Who knew there were so many things.

I very much love collecting Winnie the Pooh “items”. Many Winter Park individuals think of stuffies, figurines or books when they envision the collectables. The collection, however, takes into account so much more: tea pots, necklaces, sunglasses, bathroom items, holiday décor, toys, music – the list goes on and on …

The part of the presentation that I believe interests people most is the fact at my husband, Gary, and I have had so many amazing “experiences” while collecting that has taken us across the US and across the world.

In my book, How It All Began, I give readers an opportunity to discover how collecting items has become collecting experiences while meeting amazing people. I would love meeting your amazing invitees in Winter Park.
