Nowadays it is challenging to get away from celebrities, athletes or just the average Joe talking about political issues or religion. Social media such as X has really put a cramp on “just having fun” conversations.

Finding anything to chat about that is not controversial is challenging.

A little background:

I am thrilled to be in the Guinness Book for having the Largest Winnie-the-Pooh and Friends Memorabilia collection in the world since 2008.

Since then, I have held the Guinness World Record title and have crushed my own record multiple times. My original record was set with having collected 3,891 items and today the record has reached to over 27,000. Who knew there were so many things.

I very much enjoy collecting Pooh “items”. Many Salem Oaks individuals consider stuffed animals, figurines or books when they visualize the keepsakes. The collection, however, takes into account so much more: cake plates, rings, shirts, bathroom items, holiday décor, toys, music – the list goes on and on …

The part of the presentation that I believe interests guests most is the fact at my husband, Gary, and I have had so many amazing “experiences” while collecting that has taken us across the country and across the world.

In my book, How It All Began, I give readers an opportunity to discover how collecting items has become collecting experiences while meeting amazing people. I would appreciate meeting your amazing guests in Salem Oaks.
