These days it is challenging to get away from celebrities, sports persons or just the average Joe talking about political issues or religion. Social media such as X has really put a cramp on “just having fun” dialogue.

Finding anything to chat about that is not heated is a challenge.

A brief background:

I am honored to be in the Guinness Book for having the Largest Winnie the Pooh and Friends Memorabilia collection in the world since 2008.

Since then, I have held the Guinness World Record title and have broken my own record multiple times. My first record was set with having collected 3,891 items and today the record has reached to over 27,000. Who knew there were so many things.

I very much love collecting Pooh “items”. Many Shorewood people think of stuffies, figurines or books when they imagine the memorabilia. The collection, however, includes so much more: spice jars, jewelry, sweatshirts, bathroom items, holiday décor, toys, music – the list goes on and on …

The part of the presentation that I believe interests invitees most is the fact at my husband, Gary, and I have had so many amazing “experiences” while collecting that has taken us across the United Stated and across the world.

In my book, How It All Began, I give readers an opportunity to discover how collecting items has become collecting experiences while meeting amazing people. I would appreciate meeting your amazing guests in Shorewood.
