Nowadays it is challenging to get away from celebs, athletes or just the average Joe talking about politics or religion. Social media such as Rumble has really put a cramp on “just having fun” conversations.

Finding anything to talk about that is not controversial is a challenge.

A little background:

I am privileged to be in the Guinness Book for having the Largest Pooh and Friends Memorabilia collection in the world since 2008.

Since then, I have held the Guinness World Record title and have broken my own record numerous times. My original record was set with having collected 3,891 items and today the record has amassed in excess of 27,000. Who knew there were so many items.

I very much relish collecting Winnie the Pooh “items”. Many Fredonia people consider stuffed animals, figurines or books when they visualize the collectables. The collection, however, is comprised of so much more: cake plates, rings, socks, bathroom items, holiday décor, toys, music – the list goes on and on …

The part of the presentation that I believe interests guests most is the fact at my husband, Gary, and I have had so many great “experiences” while collecting that has taken us across the US and across the globe.

In my book, How It All Began, I give readers an opportunity to discover how collecting items has become collecting experiences while meeting amazing people. I would appreciate meeting your amazing guests in Fredonia.
