In our time it is challenging to get away from celebs, sports persons or just the average Joe talking about politics or religion. Social media such as X has really put a cramp on “just having fun” conversations.

Finding anything to chat about that is not controversial is challenging.

A little background:

I am thrilled to be in the Guinness Book for having the Largest Winnie the Pooh and Friends Memorabilia collection in the world since 2008.

Since then, I have held the Guinness World Record title and have shattered my own record several times. My first record was set with having collected 3,891 items and today the record has reached in excess of 27,000. Who knew there were so many things.

I very much appreciate collecting Winnie the Pooh “items”. Many Union Church people consider stuffies, figurines or books when they envision the keepsakes. The collection, however, is comprised of so much more: cookie stamps, necklaces, shirts, bathroom items, holiday décor, toys, music – the list goes on and on …

The part of the presentation that I believe interests guests most is the fact at my husband, Gary, and I have had so many great “experiences” while collecting that has taken us across the US and across the globe.

In my book, How It All Began, I give readers an opportunity to discover how collecting items has become collecting experiences while meeting amazing people. I would appreciate meeting your amazing people in Union Church.
