Nowadays it is difficult to get away from celebs, athletes or just the average Joe talking about politics or religion. Social media such as Instagram has really put a cramp on “just having fun” conversations.

Finding anything to chat about that is not controversial is a challenge.

A little background:

I am pleased to be in the Guinness Book for having the Largest Winnie the Pooh and Friends Memorabilia collection in the world since 2008.

Since then, I have held the Guinness World Record title and have broken my own record several times. My initial record was set with having collected 3,891 items and today the record has amassed in excess of 27,000. Who knew there were so many items.

I very much relish collecting Winnie the Pooh “items”. Many Jackson individuals think of plush, figurines or books when they visualize the keepsakes. The collection, however, is comprised of so much more: mugs, jewelry, shirts, bathroom items, holiday décor, toys, music – the list goes on and on …

The part of the presentation that I believe interests invitees most is the fact at my husband, Gary, and I have had so many great “experiences” while collecting that has taken us across the country and across the globe.

In my book, How It All Began, I give readers an opportunity to discover how collecting items has become collecting experiences while meeting amazing people. I would relish meeting your amazing people in Jackson.
