These days it is hard to get away from celebrities, sports persons or just the average Joe talking about political issues or religion. Social media such as Facebook has really put a cramp on “just having fun” discussions.

Finding anything to talk about that is not contentious is challenging.

A brief background:

I am privileged to be in the Guinness Book for having the Largest Pooh and Friends Memorabilia collection in the world since 2008.

Since then, I have held the Guinness World Record title and have crushed my own record several times. My original record was set with having collected 3,891 items and today the record has amassed to over 27,000. Who knew there were so many things.

I very much relish collecting Winnie the Pooh “items”. Many Pewaukee individuals consider plush, figurines or books when they visualize the keepsakes. The collection, however, is comprised of so much more: spice jars, necklaces, shirts, bathroom items, holiday décor, toys, music – the list goes on and on …

The part of the presentation that I believe interests people most is the fact at my husband, Gary, and I have had so many great “experiences” while collecting that has taken us across the country and across the world.

In my book, How It All Began, I give readers an opportunity to discover how collecting items has become collecting experiences while meeting amazing people. I would love meeting your amazing guests in Pewaukee.
