These days it is difficult to get away from celebrities, athletes or just the average Joe talking about political issues or religion. Social media such as X has really put a cramp on “just having fun” conversations.

Finding anything to talk about that is not contentious is not easy.

Well, if you are looking for a speaker in Manatee County who is not a celebrities, athletes, politician and who is above average in fun you have come to the right place.

I would love sharing my collecting experience with the guests at your next Manatee County luncheon or party.

I am pleased to bring a entertaining and engaging Pooh slideshow presentation. During arrival mingle time I can also share entertaining Pooh Quiz Questions and Winnie-the-Pooh quotes with a musical background.

There is nothing I enjoy doing more than share stories of my collecting journeys so if you need 45 minutes or four hours filled – I am much like a gas and can fill any time frame needed.

A little background:

I am flattered to be in the Guinness Book for having the Largest Winnie-the-Pooh and Friends Memorabilia collection in the world since 2008.

Since then, I have held the Guinness World Record title and have crushed my own record numerous times. My initial record was set with having collected 3,891 items and today the record has amassed in excess of 27,000. Who knew there were so many things.

I very much enjoy collecting Pooh “items”. Many Manatee County people consider plush, figurines or books when they imagine the memorabilia. The collection, however, takes into account so much more: candy dishes, bracelets, sweatshirts, bathroom items, holiday décor, toys, music – the list goes on and on …

The part of the presentation that I believe interests invitees most is the fact at my husband, Gary, and I have had so many amazing “experiences” while collecting that has taken us across the US and across the globe.

In my book, How It All Began, I give readers an opportunity to discover how collecting items has become collecting experiences while meeting amazing people. I would appreciate meeting your amazing people in Manatee County.
