These days it is difficult to get away from celebrities, sports persons or just the average Joe talking about politics or religion.  Social media such as Facebook has really put a cramp on “just having fun” dialogue.

Finding anything to talk about that is not controversial is challenging.

I am happy to bring a fun and engaging Winnie-the-Pooh slideshow presentation.  During arrival mingle time I can also share fun Pooh Quiz Questions and Winnie the Pooh quotes with a musical background.

There is nothing I love doing more than share tales of my collecting journeys so if you need forty-five minutes or 4 hours filled – I am much like a gas and can fill any time frame needed.

A brief background:

I am honored to be in the Guinness Book for having the Largest Pooh and Friends Memorabilia collection in the world since 2008.

Since then, I have held the Guinness World Record title and have broken my own record several times.  My first record was set with having collected 3,891 items and today the record has amassed to over 27,000.  Who knew there were so many things.

I very much enjoy collecting Pooh “items”.   Many Polk County people consider plush, figurines or books when they visualize the memorabilia.  The collection, however, takes into account so much more: crockpots, jewelry, socks, bathroom items, holiday décor, toys, music – the list goes on and on …

The part of the presentation that I believe interests invitees most is the fact at my husband, Gary, and I have had so many magnificent “experiences” while collecting that has taken us across the US and across the globe.

In my book, How It All Began, I give readers an opportunity to discover how collecting items has become collecting experiences while meeting amazing people.  I would love meeting your amazing people in Polk County.
